Informed consent and declaration
By submitting this form, I declare that I am authorising Inter Tax Accounting PTY LTD, ABN 88616270841, trading as “ABN Registry” (“Abn File”, “Abn File org”, “Inter Tax” “abnfile.com.au”, “we”, “us”) to submit an ABN application to the Australian Tax Office on my behalf. I understand that I am appointing Inter Tax Accounting Pty to represent me as my tax registered agent. I also authorise Inter Tax to submit a business name application on my behalf with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). I am also authorizing Inter Tax Accounting Pty LTD to represent me in order to register a GST or a TFN number. I am aware that Inter Tax Accounting Pty Ltd will use the information I have supplied in this form to perform the service(s) described above and, where needed, will remain my appointed ASIC agent to notify me when my business name requires renewal.
I declare having received explicit consent of all persons that might be referred to in this application form for their personal information to be used as necessary by Inter Tax Accounting Pty Ltd to process the necessary application(s).
I also declare that:
- I am not disqualified from managing corporations under Section 206B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001.
- Within the last 5 years I have not been convicted of, or released from prison after being convicted of, and serving a term of imprisonment for, any of the criminal offences referred to in Section 32(1)(c) or (d) of the Business Names Registration Act 2011.
- This application is submitted under, and is compliant with, the terms and conditions of the ASIC Electronic Lodgement Protocol.
- The information supplied is, to the best of my knowledge, accurate and complete.
- I understand that the best structure for my business is to apply for an ABN as a Sole Trader.
- I am in possession of the TFN, date of birth, name, OR name, address, and date of birth for all key people working in my business.
- I am not applying only following a request to get an ABN as a condition for my employment.
- I meet several key points of a business, or plan to start my business imminently. I meet or plan to imminently meet several criteria resulting in a “businesss activity”, like for example: delegating part of my work to third parties, invoicing for my work, sourcing my own clients, open a separate bank account for my trading activities and purchase a separate public liability, professional indemnity and/or work insurance.
- I am able to provide evidence that I am entitled to an ABN.
- I understand that each count of false and misleading statements made in an ABN application can result in fines up to $12,600.
- I will keep my ABN up to date and cancel it if I cease to trade or carry my business activities.
